Love this stuff so much I bought both the full size and the travel size!

Wow I just gotta say I love this stuff! It was my first time trying out a beef tallow skin care product, and I was blessed to stumble upon this one.I've been using it as my nightly moisturizer for a few weeks now and have been quite happy with the results.My skin feels more even and smooth with it. I shower at night and it definitely does a good job locking in moisture overnight.You barely need any in order to cover your entire face since it spreads so well and acts as an additional layer, so this bottle will last me a long long time. I'm guessing this is about a year's supply based on the rate that I'm going through it.It's a little thick, which helps it feel like it's doing a lot of work keeping dryness at bay.It smells like mild lavender, which is great for a night time fragrance. The fragrance does not irritate my skin, but something to be aware of if you're extra sensitive.

I got the big container of the lavender-scented beef tallow and am a big fan of the scent. Even though it doesn't mention the tallow is whipped, it is a lot softer than pure beef tallow (has a texture and consistency similar to face cream instead of petroleum jelly like pure beef tallow). For me, this is a good thing since I don't like applying a thick lather over my skin and risk clogging my pores. I planned to use this as a hand lotion and, while absorbent, it does leave smudges in my phone screen. No big deal. I can use this on other parts of my body, like my forearm and calves. I like that the tallow is from grass-fed cows so I'm getting cleaner, pure tallow without traces of GMO feed.

The beef tallow moisturizer feels rich without being heavy, and the lavender and balsam scent makes it perfect for nighttime use. My skin drinks it in quickly and stays soft for hours instead of feeling tight again later. My hands and arms looked smoother after a few days, and even rough spots started to calm down. It feels nourishing and comforting, and a small amount goes a long way.

This is a deep beef tallow moisturizer. Don’t expect something light and fluffy that will disappear immediately, this moisture will stick with you for quite some time and take a little while to fully soak in. It has a very light scent that is pleasant and mostly herbal in nature. It does leave my hands looking a little shiny afterwards, but not greasy. The lid to the container takes some effort to open and close. This is a good thing because none of the moisturizer will be wasted by accidental discharge.. This is exactly what I need for dry winter months to tame my itchy skin. Overall, I am quite pleased with this deep moisturizer.

Great product if you are looking for a natural, all-body, fragrance-free moisturizer.

This cream feels really well made and has a nice thick texture that isn't cheap. It is great for winter because it keeps my skin moisturized all day while not being sticky at all. I love that it is not too heavy on the face so I can wear it comfortably. For a big 7oz jar of grass fed tallow, the price is fair for the quality you get. You definitely get a lot of value here since a little bit goes a long way.

This beef tallow lotion says it’s unscented, but there’s definitely a noticeable smell to it, more of a mild beef scent, which makes sense, but it still caught me off guard. The texture itself is smooth, and I could feel the moisture right away, but the scent lingered enough that even my husband and daughter commented on it. For me, a scented version might actually be the better option just to mask that natural smell. I tested it on my hands and elbows, and while it felt nourishing, I eventually had to wash it off because the scent followed me around a little too much. Felt like I was making roast beef. It’s moisturizing and applies well, but the smell is something to be aware of if you’re sensitive to that kind of thing.

Returning a few weeks later.....I fried my face with red light mask not knowing the effects ore compounded and rendered weeks later. I felt like I had just exfoliated with sea salt! I threw everything I had in my bathroom that said "calming" or made in Korea on my face nothing worked. Then I saw this lurking there. I use it on my body I figured tallow may work to repair the meat state of my face. The relief was instant. Instant! Our bodies are made to accept tallow and manuka. I felt it when I first reviewed it but was distracted by shinier things. That's all I can say RN. It's really that simple. Hundreds of years simple.Original review below------I really dig the packaging. The color, the minimal vibe, less words, logo and especially the color, which is natural yet not boring. Everything about the packaging, I now realize, is just like the product itself.I’m no stranger to beef tallow — it’s been making the marketing rounds lately, from fast-food chains switching back to cooking fries in it to skincare rediscovering it, but the truth is it’s a product that’s lasted for centuries, used by pioneers not just on their skin but for everything from healing and protection to everyday practical needs such as soaps, lubricants, food prep, preserving, etc.I think beef tallow works well because it is a mammal-derived fat? I can tell by the way it just sinks right into my skin. Unlike other emollients that Ive tried on my stubborn eczema patch, after a few seconds it seems to absorb right into the top layers of my skin. I cant scrape it off with my fingernail like I can with other waxy or greasy emollients. This stuff fully absorbs into my skin but doesn't just disappear into nothing. When i put it on at night, The softness and suppleness last until the morning. The texture is dense, it comes out of the toothpaste tube looking just like....welll, toothpaste! But the minute it hits your skin it becomes buttery. But, it isn’t greasy-feeling in that suffocating way. It sorta breathes. Since tallow comes from a mammal, its fats are structurally similar to those found in human skin, which may be why it feels like it belongs there instead of sitting awkwardly on top. For me (dry, dark-toned sin that scars and discolors easily), this is exactly the kind of product that feels like it’s repairing, not masking.The ingredient list is uncomplicated and easy to understand. You do not need to be a scientist to see why it works: Grass-fed beef tallow ( natural lipids similar to what human skin uses), Manuka honey — humectant and soothing,( I used to use honey from the pantry as a mask,) Oat — calming, anti-irritant, Hyaluronic acid — hydration boost (very popular hydrating ingredient found in everything these days). Lavender scent- is not overpowering and smells like the fields.So far Ive used it on my eczema patch and on the driest parts of my face. If something is going to break me out, Ill know by the next morning. So far so good. Since beef tallow is an emollient, Ive been using it right after washing when my face is still damp to seal moisture in. It definitely gives me the same hydrated look I get with my regular moisturizer (which i might consider swapping out for this)As for my stubborn eczema patch, only time and patience will tell. Thus far it hasnt felt any itchier. And although im rotating this with a vit B12 product, I have high hopes that it will work. Tallow and honey have been used on all kinds of skin problems for centuries....which is why I can't see this not working. I'd much rather use something simple with limited ingredients that have been used for hundreds of years rather than some product with 25 ingredients and chemicals created in a lab a few years ago.As for the value, this isnt cheap but its a big 7oz tube, which is a lot when all you need is a rice size amount to cover your whole face and neck. And because tallow and honey were both used as a preservatives for centuries, I dont think im going to have to worry about it going bad fast. Im sure it will remain stable longer than most of the products in my bathroom cabinets. Who knows, it might even preserve my face against wrinkles. Grass-fed tallow isn’t a cheap raw material, and this feels more like skincare you might make at home … but someone did the work for you.

This is a big tube of beef tallow moisturizer. I have tried several beef tallow moisturizers in the past, they all felt greasy after applying. Not this one. The color is white, it's not runny, but it's not too thick either. It's got about the same viscosity as another unscented lotion I usually use. I have super dry hands, they often crack, especially in the winter. I applied this on my hands. It felt luxurious. Even though it's unscented, there's a smell. It smells like sourdough. LOL! So my hands smelled like sourdough. It did not feel greasy but there was a sheen on my skin. My hands drank it up very quickly. When I washed my hands, I did feel like there was some oil on my hands.Besides the sourdough smell, this lotion works great, I like it a lot.

This moisturizer comes in a generous 7 oz. size. It looks thick out of the bottle, but is actually closer to a lotion once applied. There is truly no scent, a bonus for those who are sensitive to fragrance. It does contain some botanicals, including Rose water, aloe leaf juice, and Centella Asiatic extract. There is also Manuka honey, colloidal oatmeal and glycerin. I think it would be suitable as a body moisturizer, given the texture and generous quantity.

I am in love with this Tallow Moisturizer! I’m always looking for more natural alternatives to products for my skin, so when I saw this I knew I had to give it a try. The calming Lavender + Balsam scent truly gives this an elevated feel, and provides amazing aromatherapy. Not only does it smell great, but the texture is perfect as well. It’s not too thick, nor too thin and it definitely does not feel greasy or leave any weird film on the skin. It absorbs almost instantly and leaves your skin feeling nourished & hydrated. Overall, it feels amazing on rough, dry skin. Providing immense healing, that is lasting. (Plus, the size of the bottle is quite large, so it is sure to last a while…as you only need a small amount each use)

Herd Beef Tallow is the best moisturizer I've ever used!! The consistency is perfect! Just confused on one thing - what is the company I can order from. Somehow mine came from another site. I'd rather get it straight from company so can see other like products! Thanks -
